Galactus is often featured alongside his herald, the Silver Surfer. The Silver Surfer began as a young astronomer named Norrin Radd who saves his home planet from Galactus by becoming his slave. Now imbued with a portion of Galactus' "Power Cosmic," the Silver Surfer roams the universe looking for planets Galactus can consume.
